Hello all clinic participants,

We have truly appreciated the huge success of our clinics! It was great to see so many dedicated athletes and we enjoyed helping you grow and progress in your game. We have received numerous compliments from parents and athletes and decided to roll out a new clinic series with dates to be announced in December. We thank all of you who attended and look forward to seeing you all again soon!

Hello Central Coast Volleyball Community,

What a turnout for our 12's and 14's! We would like to thank all of the parents, athletes, and coaches who came out to make for a great weekend. We still have a few spots available for both the 12's and 14's. We would like to complete another team at each level. If you weren't able to make the tryouts, and are still interested in competing, please email Wes at vbcoachwes@hotmail.com as soon as possible. For those of you only looking to do NON-travel, please email Wes with that information so we don't attempt to place you on another team.

As we discussed at the parent meeting, this tryout was only the first step in placing our athletes onto teams. This will continue with practices beginning this week. Please check the practice schedule link often to see November's schedule. Final placements will be made on November 8, with commitments from the athletes to their teams being made by the following practice, on November 12. Coaches will be assigned and posted shortly.

Clinics have been a huge success! Thank you to everyone who's participated, it's been a pleasure seeing everyone come out and continue to improve their skills!

Central Coast Volleyball welcomes Wes Schneider:

Central Coast Volleyball welcomes Wes Schneider as Co-Director and coach. Wes' experiences both as a college coach, as well as a consultant with Gold Medal Squared, will benefit our coaching staff and players alike. Since stepping down from his assistant coach position at Cal Poly, he has been hard at work providing jump training programs and skill development training for local athletes.

Central Coast Elite:

With the addition of Wes to the team at Central Coast, we are introducing Central Coast Elite. We are looking forward to a new era of volleyball here in the central coast. Highlights of the Elite teams will include: integrated coaching staff, personal skills training, new clinics, recruiting assistance, and more development opportunities than ever before.

It is our goal to work together to develop our teams into Junior Olympic caliber teams. We feel that through our newly implemented systems and training plans, our athletes and teams will enjoy the success and opportunities they are seeking.

About CCVC:

CCVC is a competitive program for girls who play, or want to play middle & high school volleyball. The season begins with tryouts in October and November and for most teams lasts until June. Teams practice locally and participate in sanctioned SCVA volleyball tournaments in the Southern California area through June. Teams will have the opportunity to participate in the U.S. Volleyball Festival and other annual tournaments.
